Welcoming 2025 with Music, Discovery and Learning

As we step into 2025, the Museum of Making Music is energized and inspired by the possibilities a new year brings. From extraordinary artists to innovative exhibitions and programs, we are more committed than ever to creating opportunities for music-making, learning and connection.

This year, we are thrilled to launch a brand-new K-12 curriculum, offered completely free to teachers. These engaging lesson plans are inspired by the museum’s unique content, offering hands-on activities that explore music history, instrument innovation, and career opportunities within the music industry. It's our way of supporting educators and helping students discover the joy and possibility of music. To access this resource, please visit the Education section of our website.

We’re also excited to welcome amazing artists to our stage throughout the year! Check our website's Events page regularly for new concert listings – there's always something inspiring on the horizon.

In addition, we have two new spotlight exhibitions already in the works, bringing fresh perspectives and unique stories to our galleries. We’re also proud to introduce the Resonance Choir, a new addition to our adult immersive education programs, joining our existing band and orchestral offerings.

Thank you for being part of our vibrant community. Your continued support makes everything we do possible, and we can’t wait to share this exciting year with you.

Here's to a harmonious 2025 filled with music, discovery and connection!

Warm regards,

Carolyn Grant
